Radical Group Threatens Repeat of Mumbai Terror

By Jeremy Reynalds

One of the founders of the Jewish Messianic movement has openly identified Islam as being a threat to the world.

In an online article written following the devastating attacks in Mumbai, in which almost 200 people were killed, Asher Intrater said, “Islamic Jihad is an international movement - coordinated, planned, and well-financed. Its goal is to destroy Western civilization, kill Christian missionaries, and destroy the State of Israel. It is deeply rooted in Islamic religious indoctrination. Terror is part of Jihad, and Jihad is part of Islam.”

Intrater provided a timeline of events and a summary of reports from the Israeli Hebrew press and some international media about the Mumbai tragedy.

Sept. 24. The American CIA chief in Delhi met with Indian security leaders and reported that Pakistani terrorists were training at a base with simulated city conditions and in boats offshore, indicating a possible attack planned on Mumbai from the water.

Nov.18. Indian security forces issued a warning to the Indian Coast Guard to look out for a suspicious Pakistani boat from the Karachi area.

Nov. 21. A group of 10 terrorists set out in a boat from Karachi, picking up arms and ammunition on the way.

Nov. 22. Two other terrorists checked into the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai in room 630 and stored ammunition there.

Nov. 23. The terrorist group from Karachi overtook an Indian fishing boat, cut the throats of four sailors, and ordered the captain to take them toward Mumbai.

Nov. 26. The group arrived offshore at Mumbai. The terrorists boarded three rubber inflated boats, and went ashore. The 10 divided into four teams, one group comprising four members and three other teams with two members apiece.

The group of four went to the Taj Mahal hotel. One of the teams of two went to the Jewish “Chabad” house. Another team took a cab to the Shivaji train station (where they opened fire with machine guns and hand grenades upon innocent travelers at the crowded station). The other team went to the Oberoi Trident hotel.

Nov. 27. At 11:00 am, after hiding all night in one of the rooms of the “Chabad” house, Indian nanny Sandra, grabbed little two-year-old Moishe, who turned two on Nov. 28, and fled to safety. By that time, his parents, Rabbi Gabi and Rivki Holtsberg, had already been murdered.

Nov. 28. All of the terrorists were killed except for one, Azam Amir Kasab, who was caught while trying to flee. Kasab confessed that he and his colleagues had planned to indiscriminately kill as many people as possible, yet were targeting particularly white foreigners and Jews.

Kasab also confessed that the terrorists were supported by Indian billionaire and black market entrepreneur, Dauod Ibrahim. Ibrahim has been a key supporter of Al Qaida operations in the past.

In a related story, the Times of India reported that the terrorist group which claimed responsibility for the Mumbai attacks is threatening a new wave of killings in Delhi.

The Times said the e-mail warned “of a repeat of the Mumbai terror attack at Indira Gandhi International Airport and the three major railway stations” in Delhi.

The Times said authorities have stepped up security.

Meanwhile, one radical Islamic fundamentalist was busy writing at a password protected al-Qaeda affiliated website.

Commenting on a Reuters news article posted on the site where an economist had stated that the Mumbai attacks could hurt the Indian economy, the Islamic said, “Temporary ? May Allah make it permanent.”

Intrater said, “Let us pray for Muslims the world over to turn away from this madness and to find grace in Yeshua (Jesus). Let us also pray for government, military, and police leaders around the world to fight against terrorism.”

Asher Intrater and his wife Betty Asher and Betty Intrater are the directors of Revive Israel Ministries, an organization dedicated to revival in Israel.
